Photo Blog: Miss Bossy Goes to Town

7:23 pm
We perform after intermission.

While the other chorus members wait in the hallway, I sneak into the technicians area. The area is dark.
In the semi gloom I can see the lead violinist, Sasha Souptel, waiting for his cue to go on.

The Maestro enters, paces a bit then walkes out again.
He's in his tux. He has changed record time
- 6 minutes at most. He's pensive.

The cue comes. Sasha leaves as Maestro Lim reappears.
Then he is also invited onto the stage.

I follow the concert on the close circuit TV.

7:34pm
The backstage pit is lit by blue light.
Perhaps light could seep through the cracks to the stage.
Musicians wander around in the darkness.

8:15pm
After intermission we are let on stage

This not me.
Just someone who looks like me who has stolen my camera.

My god - there she goes again...

Lady in Red? Almost!! Our very own Russian connection. It seems by virtue of being Russian you get to know everyone in the orchestra..

We wait for the lights to be raised
and for the conductor to reappear.

OK the lighting is rather weak... sorry guys,
this is the best I could do without a flash!

I won't bore you with my thoughts on the performance. If you are
terribly interested, you'lll have to surf around my site to find them...

After the performance...

It's the Mona Lisa smile.

ML said that in that case, I should take drugs all the time.
