Preah Khan . The
architectural structure of the library struck us as being very greco-roman. |

Our guide Samady showing KT the bas relief |
|

We climbed to the top of the central tower... opting to do so without use of the hand
rail: mistake! Three quarters of the way up, I realised I was 8 metres above a hard rock
floor with no safety harness. I had a minor panic attack and had to steady myself,
eventually pulling myself together and making the last few metres. KT reported the same
effect and later, back on terra firma, we watched others make the same nerve wracking
mistake... and laughed slightly uneasily. |

Hill Temple |

This was the only crowded site on the whole trip: people gather hear at the end of the day
to watch the sunset. |

|

I saw a dead monster killer fly which I've recorded here for KT's sake. |
